Shakira Is ‘Begging’ Tom Cruise To Stop Flirting w/ Her, Insider Claims ‘She’s Flattered But Not Interested’

Shakira may be single, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to mingle…at least not with actor Tom Cruise.

According to recent reports, the “Edge of Tomorrow” star wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Shakira, however, she’s not interested in knowing him in that way. The pair recently met for the first time at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami and insiders claim Tom Cruise, 60, was “giddy” and “absolutely mesmerized” by the mother-of-2. Since then, he’s allegedly been pulling out his best moves to impress Shakira and has even surprised her with flowers.

Unfortunately for Tom Cruise, the “TGQ” singer isn’t looking for love right now. Sources claim she’s “begging” him to stop with his flirtatious gestures. An insider close to the Colombian entertainer said,

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him.”

Another insider added,

“She doesn’t want to embarrass or upset him, but there’s no attraction or romance on her part – she was just being friendly. She’s flattered but not interested.”

Shakira made headlines last June when her 11-year relationship with Spanish former professional footballer Gerard Piqué, 36, came to an end. Reportedly, he cheated on her with his now-girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, 24.

The source then explained why Shakira isn’t ready to start dating again and said,

“Tom was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.”
