Supermodel Chanel Iman & NFL Player Davon Godchaux Are Engaged

Congratulations are in order for Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux!

The supermodel and NFL player just announced their engagement on Tuesday (May 30) while on vacation in Capri, Italy.

Chanel Iman took to Instagram to share the news with her followers. She shared several photos of the engagement and captioned the post,

“The blessings keep pouring, grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go.”

In a separate post, the 32-year-old gushed over her new fiancé. She said,

“Baby moon in Capri turned into the perfect engagement. I love you so much @chauxdown. You promised me the world and so far you have given me that and so much more!”

In another post, Chanel called Davon Godchaux, 28, her soulmate.

“One of the best gifts in life is a life time of adventures! My soulmate, protector and best friend the best memories are yet to come.”

Davon Godchaux also took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt message about his fiancée.

He wrote:

“First of all, I can’t even lie I was nervous ahh hell, and I never thought I would be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life! Chanel I love you so much and I wouldn’t have rather spend this moment with no one else by my side! From the moment we met I knew it was something about you and how much you value having a FAMILY that was really important to me! 

We are in this together and will always be, I love you from the bottom of my heart! My love, My fiancé, My everything!! What does not kill us only makes us stronger!!”

The exciting announcement comes weeks after the pair revealed that they are expecting their first child together.

Chanel Iman broke the news by sharing images from the couple’s all-white maternity shoot with her 3.4 million IG followers. She captioned one of the posts,

“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one.”

In another post, she shared more images from the shoot and wrote,

“God is great! It’s all been a blessing.”

Chanel Iman shares two children with her ex-husband Sterling Shepard, 30. The former couple tied the knot in 2018.  As previously reported, after four years of marriage, the New York Giants star player filed for divorce in June 2021 and it was finalized earlier this month.
