‘Wild ’N Out’ Star Justina Valentine Says She Doesn’t Get The Recognition She Deserves As A Rapper Because She’s A White Woman: ‘The World Just Don’t Wanna Hear A White B*tch Rapping’
Do you think Justina Valentine would be more respected in hip-hop if she wasn’t a white female rapper?
During a recent interview with the “We In Miami Podcast,” the Wild ‘N Out star expressed her frustrations with the music industry and how she feels she’s at a disadvantage because she’s not only white but also female.
She explained,
“Being a white girl that raps was really like just banging my head against the wall. And I was always dope. I did touch a little bit of success, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I just felt like the world just don’t wanna hear a white b**ch rapping. It’s a lot of white guy rappers.”

When asked if the music industry discriminates against white female rappers, Justina replied,
“I mean I can’t speak for anybody but myself, but if I had a d**k and balls rapping the way I rap, yes, I do feel that I would have way more recognition.”
The “Strawberry Soda” rapper added,
“Being a white female rapping just wasn’t it so when I go on Wild ‘N Out and got that TV – the TV and film look, I was so embraced in that space that became my main thing and you know, music kind of became the side b**h.”
While Justina received some support from fans, she also received some criticism from those who feel white women don’t belong in the rap game.
One fan wrote,
“She’s a better rapper than Ice Spice in my opinion no female rapper can freestyle like her on Wilding out honestly.”
A second fan wrote,
“I will never understand how people sleep on her so hard. She’s such a good rapper.”
However, another person said,
“White ppl have infiltrated black culture…and now THEY’RE being discriminated against bc they aren’t the most successful? Girl….colonizers are gonna COLONIZE.”

In 2016, Justina Valentine was added to the cast of season 8 of Wild ‘N Out and has been a member of the series ever since. As of season 17, she is the longest-running female cast member to appear on the show.
During a recent interview with Maxim, Valentine praised the sketch comedy show for giving her a start and an opportunity to showcase her talents.
“The biggest challenge for me has been breaking through in the music industry. I think maybe people weren’t ready to embrace a white female rapper; as we know, there are many white male rappers. The way I overcame that was to keep working and kicking these doors down.”
She continued,
“I never gave up. I couldn’t get through that door, so God opened another one for me. That door was Wild ‘N Out. When Nick blessed me with the platform, I was welcomed with open arms in the television world, which has been the biggest blessing.”
