Zendaya Speaks Out Following Death Of ‘Euphoria’ Co-Star Angus Cloud: ‘I’m So Grateful I Got The Chance To Know Him In This Life’

Actress Zendaya has broken her silence surrounding the untimely death of her “Euphoria” co-star Angus Cloud.

Today (Aug.1) Zendaya took to her Instagram account to pay tribute to late actor Angus Cloud, who recently passed away at the age of 25. The Emmy-winning actress uploaded a heartfelt post dedicated to Angus Cloud, who was known for his role as Fezco in HBO’s hit series “Euphoria.”

Zendaya’s statement comes a day after news surfaced of Cloud’s sudden passing. Prior to his death, the beloved “Euphoria” star had reportedly been struggling with the recent loss of his father.

In the emotional post, Zendaya shared a black and white photo of Cloud and wrote,

“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor). I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love.”they could light up any room they entered” but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”

She added,

“My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone.”

According to recent reports, Cloud’s mother contacted 911 on the day that he died (July 31) to report a “possible overdose.” She told police that her son didn’t have a pulse. Cloud was later pronounced dead on the scene.

Other “Euphoria” cast members continue to mourn the young star via social media.

Actor Javon Walton, who plays Cloud’s onscreen adopted brother Ashtray, took to his Instagram to honor his late co-star. He shared photos of them hugging with the caption,

“Rest easy brother”

In another post to his IG stories, Javon Walton uploaded a flick of them smiling while dapping each other up. He wrote over the photo,

“Forever family”

Fellow cast member Katherine Narducci, who plays Fez’s grandmother on the show, reacted to the tragic news with a photo shared to her Instagram page. She captioned the post,

“[Angus Cloud] what a shining light. Kind, one of a kind. Rest [in] peace”

Other members of Cloud’s “Euphoria” team have addressed his death as well. Storm Reid posted a video tribute to Cloud via her IG stories. In a clip taken from a “Euphoria” episode of characters Fez and Lexi singing “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, she wrote,

“The tears just won’t stop”

In an additional post, Storm Reid said,

“angus made the sky look so pretty last night. what a tremendous loss for so many of us. can’t seem to wrap my mind around it. and even though the tears will continue to fall seeing pictures of his smile or funny snippets that make me giggle bring me comfort. please continue to pray for his soul and the souls of his family and friends. hug on your people and tell them you love them. check on them. call them. pop up on em. send them your current song. idfk just don’t take anything for granted life is so precious.”

Saddened by the loss, “Eurphoria” actress Alexa Demie posted a broken heart emoji to her IG stories.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of Angus Cloud during this difficult time.
