Sexyy Red Confirms Pregnancy After Asking Fans If They’re “Team Boy Or Girl”

Congratulations are in order for rapper Sexyy Red!

The St. Louis native seemingly revealed that she’s pregnant recently, sharing images with captions suggesting so.

In a set of photo’s, Sexxy Red, real name Janae Wherry, donned a fitted black jumpsuit while holding her hands around what seems to be a baby bump. As a caption to the photo’s, she wrote:

“Team boy or team girl”

In a follow up post, the 25-year-old added another image in the same fit with what seems to once again be a protruding belly. She added as a caption to the photo:

“Fat ma”

While the “Pound Town” artist didn’t outright state that she’s indeed with child, she did take to X (formerly Twitter) to seemingly confirm the pregnancy speculations. Sexyy Red reposted several video’s of fans reacting to the news that she’s expecting, and even shared a video of a recent performance that shows the growing baby bump even more clearly. In one reposted video, a fan wrote:

While another added of the same performance:

After one user showed concern about wanting to see the musician on her coming tour, Sexxy Red responded:

“We still gon make some noise wtf”

While it’s unclear at this time who fathered the child, it seems the rap star is excited about the pregnancy. During previous interviews, Sexyy Red  discussed her sex tapes being leaked online and shared that her longtime partner is still in prison – though she admitted to having other sexual partners on the side. Back in the August, the musician revealed that her first private video was shared in a revenge porn situation after the girlfriend of her side piece found out about the two.

Earlier this month, more explicit video footage of the rap star was uploaded to her instagram story. Initially, many condemned the artist believing that she herself posted the content to social media. Shortly after, however, Sexxy Red denied being behind the ordeal, stating she was “heartbroken” by the situation.

Though fans were very speculative about the sex tape posting, many seem to be overjoyed at the rappers pregnancy reveal. Social media users have taken to the comments section to congratulate the musician after her announcement was made.
