Update: Cardi B Addresses Concerning Post Saying She Wants To ‘Put A B*llet’ In Her Head: ‘I Was Just Very Overwhelmed’
Update: (Oct. 19, 2023): Cardi B is seemingly in a much better place.
Earlier this week, fans were concerned about the rapper’s well-being after she got into a heated dispute with internet trolls. At one point during the back-and-forth, Cardi posted on X (formerly known as Twitter),
“I just wanna put a b*llet in my head”
Cardi addressed her comment during a recent livestream and told supporters she’s now doing what is needed to protect her mental health. She said,
“When I burst, I’m very outspoken…when I have one of my bad moments I will literally get here and curse out everybody and f*cking be like, ‘I want you to die, b*tch, I wanna die. I don’t give a f*ck.’ Because that’s just how I be feeling at the moment.”
She continued,
“I was just very overwhelmed yesterday [and] I was just very sad…when I got home I just started seeing so much — I just started paying attention to so much sh*t that people was saying about me, and all the funny sh*t about me. I just started like, getting upset about it…I just wanted to burst.”
Later in the footage obtained by The Neighborhood Talk, she added,
“I feel a little bit better…tomorrow I’m just going to like, take the day off…and I’mma chill with my friends too. I want to chill with my friends because my friends always cheer me up.”
