Update: Cardi B Addresses Concerning Post Saying She Wants To ‘Put A B*llet’ In Her Head: ‘I Was Just Very Overwhelmed’
Update: (Oct. 19, 2023): Cardi B is seemingly in a much better place.
Earlier this week, fans were concerned about the rapper’s well-being after she got into a heated dispute with internet trolls. At one point during the back-and-forth, Cardi posted on X (formerly known as Twitter),
“I just wanna put a b*llet in my head”
Cardi addressed her comment during a recent livestream and told supporters she’s now doing what is needed to protect her mental health. She said,
“When I burst, I’m very outspoken…when I have one of my bad moments I will literally get here and curse out everybody and f*cking be like, ‘I want you to die, b*tch, I wanna die. I don’t give a f*ck.’ Because that’s just how I be feeling at the moment.”
She continued,
“I was just very overwhelmed yesterday [and] I was just very sad…when I got home I just started seeing so much — I just started paying attention to so much sh*t that people was saying about me, and all the funny sh*t about me. I just started like, getting upset about it…I just wanted to burst.”
Later in the footage obtained by The Neighborhood Talk, she added,
“I feel a little bit better…tomorrow I’m just going to like, take the day off…and I’mma chill with my friends too. I want to chill with my friends because my friends always cheer me up.”

Last night (Oct. 17) the “Be Careful” artist fired off a series of now-deleted concerning posts on X (formerly known as Twitter) while having a heated back and forth with internet trolls. Apparently, the entire ordeal kicked off after someone said Cardi B is,
“the only Mexican I know that don’t work hard”
In her first deleted response, Cardi B said,
“Hope you and ur mom die”

After another person called out the New York native for the harsh reply and said, “Keep wishing death on people and watch how it come back on you,” she expressed,
“Idgaf f*ck ya’ll…ya’ll can call me Mexican bring me down, hurt my feelings talk sh*t bout everything this is why I don’t release music”

She later added,
“I just wanna put a b*llet in my head”
Cardi hasn’t said anything else on the exchange since removing her posts, however, others online have started to weigh in on the situation. One person said,
“Cardi B is very comfortable with wishing death on people as if she doesnt have a big ass family thats mortal like the rest of us Girl those wishes have to land somewhere and its definitely not on the floor”

Someone else added,
“She was doing this in 2019 and last year. Something wrong with her truly”
