College Basketball Star Angel Reese Seemingly Reacts To Reports That Her Mother Is Feuding w/Her Teammates Mother, Who Claims She Was Benched Due To A Low GPA: ‘Don’t Believe Everything You Read’

The LSU Tiger’s seem to be going through a rough patch.

According to reports, the basketball teams star Angel Reese was benched without explanation recently, sparking an alleged feud with her mom and her teammate Flau’jae Johnson’s mom.

Speculation about what’s going on with Angel Reese began after she was reportedly pulled at half time of a recent game and completely sat out the next. When coach Kim Mulkey was asked about it in a subsequent press conference, she reportedly refused to share why the 21-year-old was benched, only stating that Reese is a part of team and that they

“hope to see her sooner than later”.

It appears the mother of LSU player Flau’jae Johnson wasn’t as coy about the matter, however. Kim Brooks reportedly alleged in an aggressive post that Reese has a 2.0 GPA, leading to her missed games. She reportedly wrote in the upload:

“You definitely know about grammar errors when your daughter got a 2.0 or less GPA. And in fact when writing your smart message, you didn’t capitalize nor did you use any periods,”

Adding:

“Stop being petty, fake and hateful, and take responsibility for you and your daughters actions. Your just as responsible you raised her that way. Nobody give a d*mn who you think you are since you came up off another’s brand. Just like God gave it to you he will take it right away. Always stay humble and never forget who made you and where you came from!!”

It seems Brooks’ post was in response to a post from Reese’s mother Angel Webb, who reportedly first wrote on her social:

“Folks pls do not send me long text msgs with a bunch of grammatical errors it gives me a headache. How do I know you said what you said if I can’t understand what you’re saying?”

There doesn’t seem to be any context, however, as to what prompted Webb’s post in the first place. While it doesn’t appear either of the basketball moms have made any further comments on the situation, Reese did take to her social with a simple message. The champion player wrote:

“please don’t believe everything you read.”

She also posted a picture to her instagram story that seems to suggest she’s at most still practicing.
