Wendy Williams’ Brother Claims She’s Shown A ‘Substantial Amount Of Improvement’ As She Receives Treatment In Wellness Facility, Says She Was In A ‘Worse State’ While Filming Documentary

Wendy Williams’ health was one of the focuses of a new documentary, but it appears it’s gotten better since the release of ‘Where Is Wendy Williams?’

While talking to US Weekly, the former TV legend’s brother, Tommy Williams Jr., claims Wendy Williams’ has made a “substantial amount of improvement” while living in an undisclosed treatment facility. He explained,

“It’s dialogue and conversation, topics, content, speech pattern, everything.”

According to Tommy Williams Jr., his sister hasn’t displayed any hostile behavior, as seen in the recently released documentary ‘Where Is Wendy Williams?’

“The past was obvious. We saw it.”

He continued,

“She was in a worse state, and the movie depicted it. Now in a different state.”

Though the public has yet to see Wendy Williams’ progress, Tommy Williams Jr. is optimistic it will happen soon.

“My hope is that Wendy will be seen and address the public on her own so people can see how she is now. I am proud of her development, and I think it can change the narrative. I think Wendy can come all the way back. Her story is inspirational. Her story is one to share and it’s impactful.”

Wendy’s team announced the 59-year-old had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia last week. She currently has a court-appointed legal guardian overseeing her money and health conditions.
