UPDATE: Blac Chyna & Tyga Reach Custody Agreement After Ongoing Legal Battle

Update (April 19, 2024): Blac Chyna and Tyga’s legal custody battle is officially over.

Blac Chyna and Tyga asked the court to remove all future hearings in their ongoing custody ordeal over their 11-year-old son King Cairo, according to court docs obtained by Radar Online. The exes said they’ve reached an agreement on custody, visitation, and attorneys’ fees.

They added,

“In light of these agreements, the parties wish to conclude this matter without future litigation.”

Original Story (March 5, 2024): Former reality TV star Blac Chyna is accusing Tyga of withholding evidence in their custody case.

According to a report from Radar Online, the model recently filed a motion asking that the court order her ex to reimburse her for the money she’s spending trying to unearth the alleged missing financial records.

Reportedly Blac Chyna, real name Angela White, claimed in the motion that Tyga is intentionally concealing certain financial paperwork from the case. In case you’re unfamiliar, the co-parents are in an ongoing custody battle over their young son King, 11. In July of last year, the 35-year-old mom of two decided she was ready to have joint legal and physical custody of the child she shares with Tyga, real name Micheal Stevenson, and filed a motion to have King with her 50% of the time instead of their initial arrangement of 30%.

Tyga has since been fighting the motion, urging his son’s mother to keep their original arrangement in place. Though she initially expressed her hope that they’d be able to handle the situation amicably, Chyna has not backed down from the fight. In her latest motion, the entertainer asked the court to hold Tyga liable for the money she’s spent trying to ensure all financial documents relevant to the case are being presented, which she alleged have not been.

Requesting a $15,000 award in sanctions for having to file the motion in the first place and accusing Tyga of not cooperating, Chyna’s attorney wrote in the new filing:

“To date, [Tyga] has not produced any supplemental written responses or documents within his custody and control. These documents are critical to prepare for the upcoming hearing on May 7th, trial and/or settlement,”

Adding:

“[Chyna’s] counsel have not heard from [Tyga’s] office at all, and it is clear that they are stalling so that [Chyna] is forced to prepare this motion and incur further fees and costs in this case…[Chyna] has incurred an exorbitant amount of fees related to the meet and confer efforts with [Tyga’s] counsel alone. [Tyga] has acted in bad faith and has only caused [Chyna’s] fees to skyrocket. [Tyga] continues to obstruct discovery and will not cooperate,”

Reportedly, Chyna also claimed that Tyga has not handed over his tax returns from 2020 and 2023. Additionally, the entertainer said she’s spent nearly $125,000 to go through the rapper’s finances to determine his real income since he hasn’t been cooperative. The report notes the two reached a partial agreement regarding custody and visitation back in December. However, Chyna is now seeking that an agreement be put in place for holidays as well as child support payments and attorney fees.
