NFL Star Tyreek Hill Says Divorce Rumors ‘Leaked’ After He & His Wife Began Discussing A Postnuptial Agreement: ‘Sh*t Gets Weird When You Tell People Outside Your Family’

Football star Tyreek Hill is speaking out about previous reports he and his wife Keeta Vaccaro were divorcing.

During a recent interview, the NFL’er explained how the breakup speculations began and quickly spiraled out of control.

While sitting for a discussion with The Pivot podcast, Tyreek Hill was asked how he and Keeta Vaccaro, 28, worked through their public divorce rumor saga from earlier this year. The 30-year-old shared that they maintained open communication throughout the situation, stating:

“Nobody’s right, we always gotta have open communication even when its tough.”

Continuing, the Miami Dolphins player opened up about how the rumor started in the first place. According to Hill, the two were discussing a postnup, i.e. how they would split assets in case they ever did get a divorce,  and realized they disagreed about certain things. He stated:

“We had conversations about postnup, and that was really where it all spiraled from, divorce or whatever.”

Hill suggested that someone in the relationship, maybe both, went to get outside perspectives about their situation, ultimately putting more stress on the relationship and causing rumors to spark. He continued:

“All Imma say is, sh*t get weird is when you tell people outside your family…if you telling mom, dad, sister…and they gone go tell somebody else…it’s gone leak out eventually…for us, we try to keep ours right here.”

If you recall, Hill denied rumors that he and Keeta were separating after three months of marriage almost immediately after the reports began. Despite a legal document appearing to be filed by Hill seeking a dissolution of his marriage surfacing online, the athlete insisted they were still “happily” together and claimed that someone else was responsible for the document. At the time, Hill checked one media outlet reporting on the alleged split, writing:

“boy no the heck we didn’t so don’t put that in the air !!! We are happily married and gone stay that way”

Hill went on in the Pivot interview to share that things have since been much smoother for the couple. He claimed the two regularly attend couple’s therapy and seek advice from other married couples they trust, telling the show’s hosts:

“So far its been good…we still learning as we go,”
