Madonna Issues An Apology After She Calls Out Fan Sitting During Concert Before Realizing They Were In A Wheelchair: ‘Politically Incorrect, Sorry About That’
Madonna apologized after seemingly scolding a fan at one of her concerts.

Madonna singled out a fan for sitting in the audience during her show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, during her “Celebration Tour” on Thursday (March 7).

Madonna, known as the Queen of Pop, asked the concertgoer before walking to the edge of the stage to get a closer look,
“What are you doing sitting down over there? What are you getting sitting down?”
After the 65-year-old popstar realized the person was in a wheelchair, the pop icon quickly apologized,
“Oh, okay. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that.”
The ‘Vogue’ singer added,
“I’m glad you are here.”

The video circulated on social media and garnered tens of thousands of views, with many fans criticizing Madonna’s response.

During her Dec. 2023 stop in Brooklyn, New York, on her “Celebration Tour,” the 65-year-old took a moment to thank the “important people” in the crowd who were with her in the hospital room as she experienced a “severe bacterial infection.”

She conveyed,
“There’s one very important woman who dragged me to the hospital. I don’t even remember, I passed out on the bathroom floor and woke up in the ICU. Thank you, Shioban.”
Madonna added,
“She saved my life.”
The “Material Girl” singer revealed that she was in an induced coma for 48 hours, adding that the only voice she heard for the whole time was that of her Kabbalah teacher saying, “‘Squeeze my hand.'”
When she “first became conscious” after waking up from the coma, Madonna mentioned she saw her six children surrounding her. She joked,
“I have to almost die to get all my kids in one room.”

Madonna started her career-spanning “Celebration Tour” at London’s O2 Arena in 2023. On the tour, the Queen of Pop has performed a string of her greatest hits, from “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” to “Holiday” and “Hung Up.”
