This installment will mark the fourth spinoff within the “Power” universe, following “Power Book II: Ghost,” centered on Ghost’s son Tariq, played by young actor Michael Rainey Jr.; “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” which explores a young Kanan, portrayed by Mekai Curtis; and “Power Book IV: Force,” a sequel series featuring Tommy.
“Power” premiered in 2014 and ran until 2020, ending after five seasons. The series centers around Ghost, a respected drug dealer who tries to find a balance between his life as a nightclub owner and his criminal activities.
