DaBaby Slams YouTuber Lah Mike After He Claimed Rapper Ran Off w/ $20,000 During Video Collab: ‘You A Sick Lil Dude’

DaBaby has responded to famed influencer Lah Mike.

Over the weekend, content creator Lah Mike took to Instagram to expose rapper DaBaby for allegedly reneging on a $20,000 obligation.

According to Lah Mike, he paid DaBaby to appear in a video for his YouTube channel, but not too long into filming, the “Shake Sumn” rhymer walked off set.

Mike said,

“I paid DaBaby twenty thousand dollars and he walked out on set, bro. He walked off set, bro. I’ma be real, bro, like, I’m defeated, bro. Like… I don’t know how long I can do this sh*t.”

The 19-year-old New Orleans native continued in the voiceover, which featured footage of Baby making his way to his vehicle:

“My grandma gave me $10,000 out of the $20,000 bro… because she wanted to see this video before she go, bro. She battling cancer right now, bro…and I did this sh*t for her, bro. My great grandma.”

Mike then called for his followers to tag Baby, begging and pleading with the lyricist to come back so that they could complete the project.

He wrote in the caption,

“THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY BLOW UP VIDEO. MY WAY OUT. HOW I’M [SUPPOSED] TO MAKE IT OUT IF I LOSE ALL MY VIDEOS?? I’M 19 … PLEASE GOD WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO GO BAD. I DON’T EVEN HAVE A FULL VIDEO. I SPENT MY LAST ON THAT & THIS HAPPPENS?? WHY ME GOD WHAT DID I DO @DABABY PLEASE DON’T RUN OFF [WITH] MY BAG PLEASE. I’LL FIX WHATEVER YOU NEED BRO THAT WAS MY LAST. THIS MY DREAM. I WAS WORKING TOWARDS THIS JUST FOR IT TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME AGAIN. PLEASE COME FINISH THE VIDEO. PLEASE DON’T SCAM ME BRO.”

It’s unclear as to what led to Baby’s supposed disappearing act, but the “Blame It on Baby” phenomenon responded in a series of his own messages writing,

“I ain’t run off n*gga I walked off. You know why too n*gga. Be glad that’s the way it went & tighten up.”

The 32-year-old later added in a response on his Instagram Story,

“@lahmikejr you coulda went viral the right way posting the video of me pressing yo patna [with] them big a** silver shorts on. That’s the type of sh*t the ppl wanna see kid. Quit lying on ya granny and let these folks know yo entourage f*cked yo bag up. Need yo a** whooped playing on yo grandma name boy. Where ya morals at kid. But I got an idea. Lmk if u wanna hear it?”

He explained:

“Here go the idea, young n*gga… ’cause I’m feeling good tonight. I’m on some other sh*t, see what I’m saying? I was on some other sh*t the other night, too. That’s why I just left peacefully. I said, ‘Hmph, this is preposterous! I’m out of here.’ But… since, you know, you getting on here, and you making your lil story up and all that, and now you got people playing with my name like I just came and just robbed you… check this. This what we gon’ do.”

Baby furthered,

“I’ma take the $20,000 that you gave me for my time… for that hour plus that I spent in there, and I’ma give $1,000 apiece to them 20 girls that you paid to let a lame n*gga like you disrespect them. You know what I’m saying? For that lil YouTube check.”

The ladies he’s referring to were seemingly participants in their collaboration, which was going to be a part of Mike’s infamous 20 vs. 1 series (a speed-dating skit where contestants compete for the public figure’s romantic approval).

Mentioning Mike’s claim that his grandmother aided him in coughing up the hiring fee, Baby expanded:

“Look at the type of lil n*gga I was just in there dealing with. This lil n*gga… you lying on your grandma. Ya playing. You sick. You a sick lil dude. You a sick lil dude. Like I say, the way people believing that lil story you made up, I can only imagine… people probably be believing this 20 vs. versus one sh*t like this sh*t for real. Like you don’t be paying these girls to do this.”

Ultimately, Baby concluded that Mike–who accused the hitmaker of being 5 hours late–had the “right plan” but “wrong person.”

He ended with,

“Case closed. Ain’t got nothing more to say ’bout it. You believe a n*gga that a play on his grandma that’s on you. & whatever n*ggas wanna do, lmk so I can speed it up. Ladies who was there Tap in we gone split this 20k & leave this lying a** n*gga where he at. & when I catch yo sneaky a** ima show you some love so you know how much i care about you. Right plan. Wrong person. @lahmikejr Keep husting boy.”

As for Mike, he’s allegedly going to go into detail in another YouTube video about the ordeal soon.
