Donald Glover Tells Kid Cudi ‘If You Got A Problem, I’m Not Here For The Beef’ Amid Rumors Of A Feud

Donald Glover is sending a message to Kid Cudi amid speculation they have beef.

On Monday (April 16), Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino gave fans a peek at his new music on Instagram Live.

During the preview, the Mr. & Mrs. Smith star, 40, said,

“Kid Cudi, if you got a problem, I’m not here for the beef. Just talk to me… ‘Cause it’s like we don’t have to agree on everything but we also don’t have to be like, ‘When I see you…’we have to wanna kill each other. Man, life is too short.”

It’s not clear how long the two have been privately having issues, or when it started. However, on Sunday, April 14, Tyler the Creator used a portion of his Coachella set to make it known that he’s a fan of Donald Glover. He said of the singer and actor, per Complex, 

“You know what’s sick? I used to hate that n*gga. Seriously, I don’t know why, I gotta go to therapy to figure it out. But then this n*gga put this song called ‘Urn’ out, U-R-N. It was so undeniable, n*gga, I was at conflict with myself. I’m like, ‘F*ck, how could a n*gga that I hate so much be so good?’ And now, the tables have turned and this n***a barely returns my calls.”

He continued,

“Donald, I f*ck with you. Thank you for putting out sh*t that exceeds expectations or the perception that n*ggas like us should make. I love you, thank you for existing, and thank you for coming out. Please give him another round of applause.”

Donald Glover’s response also comes after Kid Cudi said he wasn’t interested in collaborating with him.

Back in February, a fan told the Day ‘n’ Nite rapper, also 40,

“You and Gambino gotta work on something whether it’s TV, movies, or music we’d love to see/hear it! Your guys’ song Warlords needs an official release!”

Kid Cudi replied,

“Im cool”
