‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Nina Dobrev Recovering After Dangerous E-Bike Crash
Playing a vampire on TV doesn’t mean you’re indestructible in real life.
Today (May 20), actress Nina Dobrev, famously known for playing Elena Gilbert in the hit drama series The Vampire Diaries, revealed that she’s on the “long road of recovery” following an accident. Sharing what occurred on her Instagram account, Nina Dobrev posted a carousel of two pics, proving that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” In her first image, the 35-year-old appeared to be in good spirits as she sat on an electric bike seemingly moments before she took off. Unfortunately, the second image depicted how quickly the day changed and showed Nina Dobrev with a neck and leg brace while lying in a hospital bed. She captioned the post,
“how it started vs how it’s going”

In a text post shared to her IG Stories, Dobrev posted another pic from her hospital stay and wrote about the entire incident,
“I’m ok but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead”

No more details on the matter have ben released at this time.
