‘Love & Marriage Huntsville’ Star Maurice Jefferson Scott Arrested On DUI Charge

Another Love & Marriage Huntsville castmate was recently arrested by Alabama police.

Reality star Maurice Jefferson Scott was detained over the weekend for allegedly being under the influence while driving.

Social media users, including reality TV producer Carlos King and Married To Medicine star Dr. Heavenly have been discussing Maurice Jefferson Scott’s run in with the law since the incident happened yesterday (Saturday, May 25th). According to Madison County Sheriff’s official website, the OWN network star was detained around 12:04 pm Saturday afternoon and was held until around 12:19 am this morning (Sunday, May 26th).

The charge description was listed as “DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE-MISDEMEANOR (ALCOHOL)”, and showed a bond of $5,000. At this time, it does not appear the lawyer nor his spouse has spoken publicly about the arrest. In case you’re unfamiliar with the show, Jefferson Scott has starred in Love & Marriage Huntsville alongside his wife Kimmi Grant-Scott since the show debuted in 2019.

As Carlos King and Dr. Heavenly mentioned, Jefferson Scott’s arrests marks the 3rd one involving LAMH cast members in the last year. If you recall, Destiny Payton-Williams and Martell Holt have both also had their mugshots plastered across the internet recently following their own detainments. Destiny Payton-Williams surrendered to police following fraud charges back in October, while Martell Holt was accused and recently convicted a of harassing his ex-wife.

Destiny Payton-Williams was also detained again on the 16th of this month on fraud related charges, though it is unclear if the arrest was related to her prior infraction. Carlos King, who produces the reality show, revealed during his discussion with Dr. Heavenly that the drama has gone down while the show is filming its 9th season, but stated that he couldn’t speak candidly about the nature of Paytom-Williams alleged crimes at this time.
