Kim Kardashian Admits To Discipline Struggles As She Speaks On Desire To ‘Be More Strict’ w/ Her Kids

Even TV star Kim Kardashian has a tough time managing her household at times.

During a recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the billionaire vented about the “chaos” of her home life, as well as the stress of being a single mother of 4.

Kim Kardashian was on her way to jury duty during the episode when she opened up about the struggles she faces as a working mom. She stated:

“I had a Zoom interview at the house with all my kids there banging on the door, just screaming. And I was literally hiding in a bathroom with the door locked. Cause I was just like, ‘I can’t believe this.’ I mean, I can believe it, but that’s like, my biggest nightmare.”

She continued:

“I’m open to anything at this point because I can’t live like this. I ran out of patience and that’s what my superpower was, calm and patient,”

In a confessional clip, the 43-year-old expressed that her household can sometimes be “a little intense,” especially when her four children, 10-year-old North, 8-year-old Saint, 6-year-old Chicago, and 5-year-old Psalm, all of whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye west, are all vying to get their way. Kim Kardashian further claimed that the children “know when to con” and “start with the tears,” ultimately prompting her to give in to their demands.

She also opened up about wanting to “be more strict” like sister Khloe Kardashian, mother to True and Tatum who she shares with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, but admitted she has a problem following through on disciplining her kids and doesn’t like dealing with the “whining and tears.” The SKIMS founder also mentioned not having support and being “only one person” trying to meet the needs of four. As one report noted, filming for the episode reportedly happened around the time Kanye West was touring Europe with his wife Bianca Censori.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has opened up about the pressures of single parenting. If you recall, back in May of last year, months after finalizing her divorce from West, the beauty mogul reflected on crying herself to sleep some nights, stating:

“Parenting is the thing that has taught me the most about myself….There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy sh*t, this f***ing tornado in my house. Like, what just happened…You know, with all the moods and the personalities and sometimes they’re fighting, and you know, there’s no one there,” 

Kardashian did go on to state that she’s found a trick to calming things down, however, offering to cut herself up into fours to much outcry from her kids.
