Chris Brown Tells PartyNextDoor ‘Apologize Or Keep That Same Energy’ After PND’s Ex Appears In New Music Video
PartyNextDoor and Chris Brown have found themselves in the midst of a public feud.
The dispute began when Desma Tripp, 34, PartyNextDoor’s ex-girlfriend, appeared in the music video for Jeremih’s song Wait On It, which features Bryson Tiller and Chris Brown.

The Wait On It video features Desma Tripp’s character navigating a complicated love life. She seems to be dodging an ex, played by Bryson Tiller, while showing interest in a possible new fling, played by Chris Brown.
The storyline has stirred quite the conversation online, sparking tension between the artists.
PartyNextDoor, 30, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his feelings about his ex being in the video. In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote:
“Doing videos, at 34, that b**** broke.”
He didn’t stop there, adding:
“I’m finna make these n***** cry… Bryson, Chris, and Jeremih… enjoy, the nights, of your life.”

PartyNextDoor and Desma Tripp began dating around 2017. Although the exact date of their breakup is unclear, it appears they had an on-and-off relationship, given that Desma Tripp was seen on his Instagram Story last year.
Chris Brown, 35, responded with a subliminal tweet, seemingly directed at PartyNextDoor, urging him to publicly apologize or “keep that same energy” when they see each other in person:
“N***** speak without thinking sometimes… then call around to my people trying to retract shit. NAW N****, go on your socials and apologize or keep that same energy when you see me.”

PartyNextDoor later attempted to clarify his stance, tweeting:
“To be clear, I got nothing but love n respect for those guys…. s*** happens.”

Jeremih, 36, also weighed in on the situation by reposting PartyNextDoor’s tweets on Instagram, accompanied by the song Boohoo by Diddy featuring himself. His caption read:
“Mih fault if I double tapp…. #BooHoo #WaitOnIt”

Amidst the clash, PartyNextDoor and Bryson Tiller, 31, both recently released albums, while Jeremih is gearing up to drop new music.
Jeremih recently teased on Instagram:
“I Know I Made Y’all ‘Wait On It’, But I Promise This New Music Is Going To Be Worth The Wait.”

Meanwhile, Chris Brown is currently on his 11:11 tour.
