Cardi B Says She’ll Address Disses Aimed At Her From Fellow Rappers On Upcoming Sophomore Album: ‘B*tches Have Absolutely Lost Their Mind’

Cardi B is coming!

The 31-year-old rapper warned today (July 25) on X (formally Twitter) that she’s heard the people dissing her and will address all of them accordingly on her highly anticipated second studio album. Kicking off a couple of firey posts, Cardi B wrote,

“These b*tches have absolutely lost their mind… I’m getting all my lick backs on my album tho …ON EACH ONE OF YOU B*TCHES !!!”

In a follow-up post, she added,

“These b*tches can’t see me in numbers or status, y’all had WAY too much time to catch up. Can’t see me in money, can’t see me in real estate, fashion, and CAN’T SEE ME IN PERSON either… I’m not in a rat race with none of you b*tches!! And ima show yall”

While it’s unclear who exactly the warning shot was for, word on the street is that one person on the New York native’s bad side is Ice Spice. Allegedly the 24-year-old shaded Cardi on her debut Y2k! album. The project doesn’t drop until tomorrow (Friday, July 26) so the public can’t confirm what insiders have claimed at the time of this report.

However, an alleged snippet of the song “BB Belt” has leaked online, which has only added to the growing diss allegations. On the leaked preview circulating the internet, Ice Spice allegedly raps,

“Think she pretty but changing her face (d*mn)
Falling behind, like b*tch pick up your pace
That was funny till I took her place
Her man calling but I be like, who this?”

She adds,

“Lightskin but I’m Black, you can tell by my hair”

The final line of the reported diss seems to be in reference to a somewhat small dispute Cardi and Ice Spice had in April about race. For those who need a refresher, Cardi called out popular influencer Raymonte for pulling her into a conversation about why he wasn’t getting certain brand deals due to his “ghetto” demeanor. Amid his rant, he claimed that the “WAP” rapper, who doesn’t look like a “physical Black woman” to him, is  “very, very ghetto” but people don’t mind because of her skin complexion.

Cardi responded to Raymonte and also addressed a time he referred to her as “Mexican.”

“I asked you why you feel comfortable calling me a Mexican when ice and jharell Jerome Zoe Saldana are Dominicans and you don’t do that to them. You do it to me because you know that’s what people use to hurt me…”

Ice Spice then entered the conversation with,

“No offense bardi its cus i have a dominican parent & a black one”

To which Cardi replied,

“I think there might be some confusion on what was said. I asked why he feels so comfortable calling me Mexican? I have no Mexican parents. My mom is Trini.. she came out of a whole black woman. My father is Dominican…I’m Dominican just like you,” she wrote while quote-tweeting Ice Spice. “I also used other Dominicans as an example because as you should know a lot of times we get clustered into one because of the language.”

Ending the conversation, she added,

“Also can you send me that pic you took of me wit ya camera from vanity fair? Thank youuu”

Following Cardi’s final post on the matter, Ice did share the picture they took together and it seemed like the brewing drama was over, but now it looks like things are just heating up.
