Julio Foolio — Three Suspects Arrested For Rapper’s Murder + Police Release Footage Of Shooting

Three people have been arrested for the fatal shooting of rapper Julio Foolio.

As previously reported, Florida artist Julio Foolio, real name Charles Jones, was shot and killed outside a Holiday Inn on June 23. He was killed in an apparent ambush while celebrating his 26th birthday in Tampa. Three other people were injured in the shooting but have since made a recovery.

While there’s a total of five suspects in the murder case, authorities reportedly located and arrested Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21, over the weekend in Jacksonville. There are warrants out for two other suspects in the case.

According to police, Sean Gathright and two other people fired shots at Julio Foolio the night he passed away. Police also said the three shooters were armed with a handgun and two rifles. All five suspects are accused of premeditated first-degree murder along with other charges.

In addition, police recently released footage of the tragic shooting. During a press conference, authorities noted that everyone involved in the murder are members of Jacksonville gangs ATK and 1200, which are rival gangs to 6 Block, the gang Julio was reportedly a part of. Detectives believe that the gangs teamed up to target the musician as part of their ongoing feud.
