Tamar & Towanda Braxton’s Ongoing Feud Leaves Internet Discussing Who’s In The Wrong: ‘Feelings Are Valid, Behavior Is Not’

Tension between famous sisters Tamar and Towanda Braxton came to a head on a recent episode of their reality series.

A heated confrontation the two had has been going viral online, as internet users discuss who is really the cause of their strained relationship.

Social media users have been sharing their thoughts on the matter following an intense episode of WeTV’s The Braxton’s, which stars all four living Braxton sisters, Toni, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar, as well as their mother Evelyn Braxton. As we’ve previously covered, Traci Braxton had signed on to be part of the show, but sadly passed away before it began filming.

During a heated exchange on episode 2 of the series, titled “Healing Takes Time,” Tamar and Towanda attempted to talk out their longstanding issues, with the latter insisting that she just doesn’t “pour into certain types of energy” and is “focused on her household.” The group was attending a therapy session and were discussing why Towanda is ok with not interacting with “certain” family members.

Tamar was visibly irritated throughout the entire exchange and rolled her eyes, grumbled, and accused Towanda of speaking to their other sisters everyday but not picking up when she calls unless they’re filming. Allegations which Towanda vehemently denied. Reacting to the feud, many social media users began discussing the course of Tamar and Towanda’s relationship over the years. One user shared a clip of the two going at back in 2004 during a session with celebrity inspirational speaker Iyanla Vanzant.

Many argued that they feel Towanda simple doesn’t like Tamar, and further surmised that she’s built up resentment towards her sister for leaving their girl group The Braxtons (made up of Trina, Towanda, and Tamar) back in the day. Some even claimed it seems as though Towanda is jealous of Tamar’s subsequent success as a solo artist and media personality.

Others, however, slammed Tamar for her behavior. They argued that Towanda seems done condoning her sisters childish antics, and showed support to Towanda for not being afraid to cut off their relationship.
