Kandi Burruss Says ‘There Will Never Be Another’ Kenya Moore As She Speaks On Friend’s Shocking Departure From ‘RHOA’

During an Amazon Live stream a few weeks ago, the 48-year-old businesswoman and former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was asked about Kenya Moore’s life following her departure from the show. Naturally, Kandi Burruss had nothing but positive things to say.

Providing an update on Kenya Moore, she stated,
“She’s doing pretty good. Obviously, she’s thinking of what’s next. She’s making big plans. Continue to support my girl.”
She continued,
“Kenya is Kenya. There will never be another Kenya!”
However, when asked if the franchise could survive without the two of them, she noted that anyone is interchangeable on the show.

Kandi Burruss’ recent remarks follow a flurry of rumors, including allegations that Kenya Moore displayed explicit images of RHOA newcomer Brit Eady on a poster board during the filmed event, after Brit allegedly made a threat involving a gun.

Both ladies have denied the allegations, and theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported that Kenya Moore left the series due to Bravo’s handling of safety and security concerns.

Kandi also departed from the franchise earlier this year after 14 seasons.
In a previously shared statement, she said:
“I decided I’m not coming back this year. It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long. During that time, I started working on a lot of other things, and I’ve got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those.”
She continued,
“After you really have time to think, and a friend of mine was like, ‘Why do you keep doing it?’ I was like, ‘Well, I think because I’ve just been doing it for so long, it feels weird to think about not doing it.’ So I was just like, ‘You know what? I’m going to take a break. I’m going to take a moment… I’m not coming back this year.’”

Although Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore have moved on, The Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to return for its highly anticipated 16th season soon. The new season will feature familiar faces, including Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, and Shamea Morton, alongside newcomers Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley. Cynthia Bailey will also return, making appearances as a friend of the show.
