Kevin Gates Responds After Viral Video Shows Him Hitting Content Creator: ‘Don’t You Ever Do No S*** Like That’
Kevin Gates has addressed the controversy surrounding a video of him hitting a content creator that recently went viral.
In response to the incident, the 38-year-old rapper initially contacted content creator Wayon (@wxyonnn) via direct message, telling him to:
“Delete that s***, b****.”

However, Kevin Gates later took a different approach and addressed the situation publicly on Instagram.

In his video, Kevin Gates said,
“Don’t you ever do no s*** like that, boy. I didn’t raise you to be like that, boy … It’s all good, baby, players f*** up too.”

The altercation occurred at Westfield Topanga Mall in California, where Wayon, while filming himself, approached Gates and requested that he recite an explicit saying:
“Can you say ‘d*** in that p****’ for me real quick?”
Gates, clearly annoyed, responded,
“Stop playing with me, negro. Get the f*** on.”
Kevin Gates then struck Wayon on the back of the head.
Wayon reacted in shock, saying in his video,
“Kevin Gates just assaulted me. D****, ouch. N****, I just got punched by Kevin Gates. That’s low-key a dub.”
With many of Kevin Gates’ fans seemingly supporting his response, it will be interesting to see if Wayon pursues any further measures regarding the incident.
