Kevin Hart Speaks On Feud w/ Katt Williams: ‘I Should Never Address Him, At All’

Comedian Kevin Hart is seemingly not here for the drama with his colleague Katt Williams.

During a recent hour-long interview with Charlamagne Tha God, the “Ride Along” actor spoke on his ongoing drama with Katt Williams and said that he regrets responding to the allegations Williams made about him during his infamous Club Shay Shay appearance earlier this year. In case you didn’t know, the “Friday After Next” star accused Kevin Hart of being an industry plant and stealing movie roles in the middle of his negotiating revisions.

In an interview, Kevin Hart responded to Williams’ criticism and said,

“It’s entertainment…If that’s what he fuels himself off, God bless him. Good for him. I hope he gets all that he needs and he wants, and I’m here cheering for him from afar.”

In Hart’s new interview with Charlamagne, he referred to a 2018 interview on The Breakfast Club and admitted to throwing a few shots at Williams while defending his “Night School” co-star Tiffany Haddish for negative comments he made.

Hart expressed,

“I think there’s probably one moment where I’ve talked about Katt publicly. We were promoting Night School, and Tiffany was affected by some of the things he said. It was more of a, like, support for her in that moment and some shots at him.”

When Charlamagne asked if he regrets responding to Williams’ allegations against him, the stand-up comedian said,

“Yeah, I should never address him, at all. I don’t have to. Like, why? What will it do for me? What will I gain? There’s no gain. I look at everything from a business and economic standpoint. If I’m investing in something, what is my return? … If I can’t answer that question… then it doesn’t get energy.”
