Chicago Rapper Lil Reese Remains Active On IG Despite Arrest Warrant For Allegedly Punching & Strangling Ex-Girlfriend
Drill rapper Lil Reese doesn’t seem bothered by the warrant issued for his arrest.
The Chicago musician recently uploaded several posts to his Instagram Story, despite the police searching for him for allegedly physically assaulting an ex-girlfriend.

Reports state that Texas police issued the warrant for Lil Reese, real name Tavares Taylor, 31, following an altercation he had with a former partner at the Pink House Houston last week. The woman claimed that she dated the “Show Us Some” artist for two months, but ended their relationship around a month ago. Allegedly, she came face to face with her ex when he arrived at the strip club, and said that Lil Reese attempted to flirt with her and kiss her throughout the evening.

Once the rapper realized his advances weren’t getting him anywhere, the victim claimed Lil Reese became irate and struck her in the face, subsequently gripping and pressing on her throat leaving her “gasping for air.”
Authorities reportedly documented fingernail scratches and red marks on the woman’s neck and reported that her friend witnessed the attack and called for security to intervene, leading them to issue the warrant for Lil Reese’s arrest.

Reportedly, neither Lil Reese nor his attorneys have responded to the warrant at the time of this writing. However, the rapper has remained active on social media. Several videos have been uploaded to his Instagram Story since reports of the warrant surfaced, with the latest being only 9 hours prior to this report. He also shared what appeared to be a sponsored ad on his main page sometime yesterday (Sept. 17).
