Boosie — Warrant Out For Rapper’s Arrest In Texas After He Allegedly Failed To Pay A Chauffeur
Authorities in Austin, Texas, have issued a warrant for rapper Boosie’s arrest on a theft of services charge, per reports.
The arrest warrant affidavit says that Boosie, who was born Torence Hatch, is looking at charges of theft of service of between $2,500 and $30,000. Apparently, he allegedly failed to pay a chauffeur after being driven around in a limousine in Travis County from June 5 to June 7.
The company was under the impression it would get paid via cash. Instead, it now alleges that Boosie didn’t have an actual plan or schedule while he was in town and made a few stops at places ranging from Burger King and Walmart to a federal courthouse, Urgent Care, and a trampoline park. He also was driven to a business that has not been identified.

The company asked Boosie about payment multiple times and later sent an invoice for $8,800, however, it allegedly has yet to receive payment.
Boosie said that he shouldn’t owe anything since he promoted the driver on social media, and the driver in turn said he would offer Boosie “a good price, just like [he] told [his] manager.”
The driver allegedly agreed to have a conversation about the proposed deal, however, they never came to an official agreement. The company also said it has never had that type of contract with any other clients.
Boosie is scheduled to appear in court in Travis County on Oct. 28.
