Angela Simmons’ Fans Urge Her To End Things w/ Yo Gotti Following News Of Record Exec’s Late Brother Putting A $100,000 Hit Out On Young Dolph

Supporters of socialite Angela Simmons are calling for her to end her relationship with Yo Gotti.

As reported, the trial for Justin Johnson — one of the men accused of murdering Memphis rapper Young Dolph — kicked off yesterday (Sep. 23) with a shocking revelation. During opening remarks, prosecutors argued that Yo Gotti’s late brother Anthony “Big Jook” Mims put a $100,000 hit out on Young Dolph.

A second suspect in the case, Cornelius Smith, testified he was made aware of the 6-figure hit and agreed to kill the “Preach” rapper with Johnson. The men allegedly determined they would evenly split the funds, and each hand over $10,000 to the third suspect, Hernandez Govan.

However, after Young Dolph’s death, Smith claimed he received $500, followed by $300 before the payments ceased.

As Smith’s testimony went viral, several individuals took to X and pleaded with Angela Simmons to break up with Yo Gotti. One person on X said,

“Angela Simmons please distance yourself from Yo Gotti honey….”

And another shared similar sentiments with,

“Angela Simmons, hey girl. It may be time to pack your bags and go back to Run’s house because it’s about to get extra hot.”

In 2015, Yo Gotti first publically made it known that he was interested in Angela Simmons by giving her a shoutout on his record “Down in the DM,” where he raps,

“I love the ‘Gram, I love the ‘Gram (I love the ‘Gram)
I’m addicted to it, I know I am (I know I am)
And I just followed Angela (Simmons)
Boy, I got a crush on Angela (Simmons)”

Despite the rap lyrics, it wasn’t until years later that Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons started dating. They confirmed their relationship in December 2022 with an IG post and made their first public appearance together at a Grizzlies vs. Cavaliers game in January 2023.
