Tia Mowry Repurposes Wedding Ring Following Divorce From Cory Hardrict
Tia Mowry is giving her wedding ring a fresh purpose following her divorce from Cory Hardrict.
In the October 11 episode of her new reality show, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” Tia revealed her decision to repurpose her wedding ring into special pieces for her children.
As she contemplated her decision, she expressed,
“I haven’t worn it for almost two years now, and it just doesn’t feel right to sell it. Instead, I want to transform my wedding band into something special for my kids to pass down. They have been my biggest gift.”
Tia Mowry acknowledged the emotional challenges, saying,
“It’s hard for me to not think about Cory when I am deciding to repurpose my wedding band… I need to make this decision for me. And I think because it’s going to the kids, he’ll be okay.”
She ultimately decided to transform the ring into a necklace for her son, Cree Taylor, and a bracelet for her daughter, Cairo Tiahna, adding,
“It just makes me feel like my marriage wasn’t a waste. I did the right thing.”
Tia and Cory Hardrict finalized their divorce in April 2023 after 14 years of marriage.
