Drake and Jennifer Lopez have allegedly been getting closer since she became a single woman.

Sources recently shared with In Touch that the Canadian crooner, 37, contacted the “Ain’t Your Mama” songstress, 55, almost immediately after she filed to divorce Ben Affleck, 52, back in August.

The source stated:

“As soon as she filed the papers, Drake reached out…He was very sweet and told her what a fool Ben is for letting her get away, and then he quickly let her know he’s ready and willing to step in and satisfy her.”

Noting that Lopez likely isn’t considering a serious relationship with Drake, but he “definitely meets her needs for a hook-up,” the source continued:

“He’s very intelligent and romantic and she can count on him being discreet because he’s always kept her secrets in the past…It’s still in the sexting stage but she loves hearing from him and sharing sexy selfies, he’s very quick to compliment her and he lays it on thick.”

If you recall, Drake and Lopez sparked dating rumors in 2016 after uploading cozy pictures of themselves to Instagram.

Subsequent reports claimed the entertainers were also spotted kissing at a prom-themed party shortly after.

Lopez confirmed that they were “hanging out” in 2017, but never gave anything more about the nature of their relationship.

Now, it seems the two have once again rekindled things. The source furthered:

“They have their own history and a lot of chemistry, so it really did a lot to make her smile…Getting that kind of attention when she was feeling so low was exactly what she needed. Now they’re texting every day and things are getting hot.”
