Agents claim Durk had booked multiple international flights, including routes to Dubai, Switzerland, and a private flight to Italy, in an attempt to escape U.S. jurisdiction just before being apprehended in Miami.
In the rapper’s charging documents, federal investigators said “witnesses and/or their family members have already received threats and/or have been contacted in what appear to be attempts to influence their participation in this investigation.”
Durk had his initial appearance this afternoon in U.S. District Court in Miami. He waived an identity hearing and agreed to remain in custody for transport by the U.S. marshals office to L.A., where he will be arraigned at a later date.
