Gucci Mane’s Ex Mac Bre-Z Calls Out Rapper Over Unpaid Music Royalties: ‘Everybody’s Eating Off These Records But Me’

Gucci Mane’s Ex Mac Bre-Z Calls Out Rapper Over Unpaid Music Royalties: ‘Everybody’s Eating Off These Records But Me’
Mac Bre-Z is calling out Gucci Mane, demanding recognition and payment for her contributions to some of his earlier songs.
In a recent throwback Instagram post, Gucci Mane’s ex-girlfriend Mac Bre-Z—who claims she was the first artist Gucci Mane ever signed—laid it all out:
“You loved to mention me in your songs. You loved having me on your arm. You loved that I took the stand and defended you in court… and you loved collaborating with me on your albums and mixtapes. But I would love to get paid for my writing credits.”
She questioned why Gucci hasn’t “done the right thing” by compensating her for her contributions, adding,
“Everybody’s eating off these records but me.”

In a video, the rapper went on to share that, after two decades, she has “still not made one red cent” from hits she collaborated on, including “Pillz” and “Go Head.” She explained that she can’t post performance videos of these songs online because they keep getting muted or removed, stating,
“I should be able to promote the music that I contributed to.”
Mac Bre-Z went further, revealing she’s now pursuing legal action to get what she feels is rightfully hers, emphasizing,
“It’s not personal, it’s business…”
She added that, like Gucci, she’s moved on and shared that her upcoming documentary will tell her side of the story in full.
