‘Operation Skin So Soft’: 21 Women Arrested In Florida Massage Parlor Prostitution Ring
A two-day sting in Polk County, Florida, resulted in the arrests of 21 individuals, mostly on charges related to alleged prostitution.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the operation, “Operation Skin So Soft,” targeted multiple massage parlors, 12 of which were found to be non-compliant with the law and involved in alleged prostitution. The name stemmed from a compliment to an undercover officer during compliance checks.
Arrestees, aged 31 to 64, faced charges ranging from offering prostitution and unlicensed massage therapy to resisting arrest and battery. One individual allegedly became “extremely aggressive” while attempting to engage in non-massage services.
Sheriff Judd warned both offenders and potential clients, saying, “If you don’t wanna go to jail, don’t do it. Your picture could be next.”
