Prince’s Sister Tyka Nelson’s Cause of Death Revealed As Cardiac Arrest & Congestive Heart Failure
Tyka Nelson, the younger sister of Prince, passed away at 64 due to cardiac arrest, with congestive heart failure as a contributing factor.
The Minnesota Dept. of Health released her autopsy results, revealing that she had been suffering from non-ischemic cardiomyopathy for months before her death. Substance abuse also weakened her heart.

Tyka was a singer who released four albums during her career and was notably the only full sibling of legendary singer Prince. After his passing in 2016, she was dedicated to preserving his legacy, playing a crucial role in transforming Prince’s recording studio and concert venue, Paisley Park, into a museum that honors his life and artistry.
