Anna Wintour is clearing the air on how strict she really is.
The infamous Vogue editor-in-chief set the record straight with the BBC while at the London Lightroom exhibition, “VOGUE: Inventing the Runway.”
She addressed claims that Donatella Versace made in the docuseries In Vogue: The 90s, that Anna Wintour can never be told “no.”
Anna Wintour responded,
“That is absolutely untrue. They often say ‘no,’ but that’s a good thing. ‘No’ is a wonderful word.”
As for whether people are “frightened of her,” Anna Wintour confessed,
“I hope not.”
Adding of her reputation:
“I don’t really think about it. What I’m really interested in is the creative aspect of my job.”
