Flavor Flav Says His ‘Spirit Is Broken’ After NBC Incident At Rockefeller Tree Lighting
Flavor Flav is speaking out about a disappointing moment at the Rockefeller Tree Lighting.
In a now-deleted tweet, Flavor Flav shared that he was invited to the event and spent time backstage with the Backstreet Boys before security asked him to leave:
“Security came up to me and says @NBC does not want me in this area and I need to leave. At the same time, their social media woman came up and asked to capture social content. What did I ever do to NBC or anyone? All I ever do is try to spread joy and love, and I think I did that for NBC at the Olympics.”
Flavor Flav later mentioned that the Backstreet Boys spoke up for him, but he said the incident upset him, admitting,
“I deleted the tweet, but my spirit is broken.”
