Jamie Foxx Trends As Fans React To His Emotional Netflix Special

Jamie Foxx is trending after the release of his deeply personal Netflix standup special, What Had Happened Was.

The comedian opened up about the mysterious illness that left him hospitalized and unable to recall 20 days in 2023, blending vulnerability with humor in a way that has social media buzzing.

One fan praised the special, tweeting, “I bawled my eyes out watching that Jamie Foxx one-man show. It was really funny, really vulnerable, and extremely well-written & performed. This is the best kind of art.”

However, some found it preachy, with another viewer sharing, “Sat down to watch the new Jamie Foxx special thinking I was getting stand up, & got church instead.”
