Diddy Has Given Up On Being Released From Jail After Being Denied Bail 3 Times
Diddy is no longer trying to get out of jail before his trial begins. After being denied bail three times, his lawyers filed a motion asking for his attempt at an appeal to be dismissed.
They wrote in court documents, per legal reporter Meghan Cuniff,
“Mr. Combs does not seek to appeal the district court’s denial of his renewed motion and hereby moves to voluntarily dismiss the appeal.”
Diddy, who is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
