Karrine Steffans Weighs In On Jay-Z Allegations: ‘None Of This Is Shocking’
Elisabeth Ovesen, aka Karrine Steffans, is speaking out about the bombshell allegations against Jay-Z, who is accused of r@ping a 13-year-old girl alongside Diddy back in 2000.
In a recent statement to the Daily Beast, Ovesen, who chronicled her experiences in hip-hop in her memoir Video Vixen and claims to have had a relationship with the rapper, said the lawsuit against Jay-Z is part of a larger trend.

She shared,
“None of this is shocking, and it’s all part of the same [Me Too] movement. I’m not sure why people are separating this wave of Black music executives/artists from the original #MeToo investigations and arrests. They’re all connected.”
She added,
“From (Bill) Cosby, (Harvey) Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, and the hundreds in between—they’re all connected. There are still hundreds more men to be accused, found guilty, and fall.”
A few months ago, Ovesen commented on her experiences with other hip-hop moguls, stating that she was once “gifted” to Diddy by an unnamed executive, though she does not describe herself as one of his victims.
Both Jay-Z and Diddy have denied the claims against them.
