John Amos’ Son K.C. Fires Back At His Sister For Hiring A Lawyer To Investigate The Actor’s De@th: ‘He Passed Of Natural Causes’
John Amos’ son K.C. is continuing to deny allegations of elder abuse made by his sister, Shannon.
Days after his sibling announced that she hired a lawyer to investigate the circumstances surrounding their late father’s August passing, K.C. issued a statement to PEOPLE that read:
“My dad wanted to go to Centinela because he trusted them and they were the nearest hospital… There was a discussion of contacting other family members, and Pops said not to contact anyone, and I honored his request.”

He further stated:
“Let me be clear and transparent. There has been no physical, financial, emotional, psychological elder abuse or neglect committed against my father by me, Gene Brummett, or Belinda Foster… This has been documented by independent investigations conducted by Homeland Security Services, Inc., Adult Protective Services, and other law enforcement agencies. The reality is that he passed away from natural causes at the age of 84 years old. Stop making it more than what it is.”
Shannon has continued to raise suspicions that K.C. was involved in an elder abuse and mistreatment ploy that she claims led to John’s de@th.
It does not appear that her lawyers have responded to K.C.’s latest statement on the matter at this time.
