New Orleans Attacker’s Wife Had Restraining Order Against Him After Alleged Ab*se
Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who killed 10 people and injured 30 in a New Orleans attack, had a history of domestic issues. During a contentious pandemic-era divorce, his wife, Shaneen Jabbar, obtained a restraining order citing threats and potential harm to her and their child.
A previous wife, divorced in 2016, also alleged abuse. Jabbar drove a truck into a Bourbon Street crowd, shot two officers, and was killed by police. Authorities found an ISIS flag in his vehicle.
