Offset is reflecting on the importance of leaving things behind amid his ongoing divorce from Cardi B.

The rapper recently posted a video on his Instagram Story of Erykah Badu sharing an emotional message about personal growth and transformation. In the clip, Badu says,

“I had to leave some things behind. Some part of me behind. It felt like a funeral of sorts. A part of you has to die every time you evolve. You gotta leave it back there. You want it because it’s familiar.”

This post comes as Offset and Cardi B navigate their separation after getting married in 2017. The couple filed for divorce in 2024 and share three children.
