Rickey Smiley Recalls Discovering He Had Twin Daughters After The Death Of His Adult Son

Nearly a year after the heartbreaking loss of his son Brandon in January 2023, the comedian and radio personality learned he is the biological father of identical twin daughters.

During an appearance on the Smitty & Dee podcast, Rickey shared,

“I got a phone call from an ex-girlfriend. She went to court and found that those identical twin daughters were not her ex-boyfriend’s. The whole time, they’re my biological daughters.”

Reflecting on the moment, he said,

“That’s the first time I saw the sun again during that dark hour. The sun came back out.”
