Emotions ran high during Derrick Rose’s jersey retirement celebration in Chicago over the weekend!
The former NBA superstar and his family shared smiles, even through tears, as the Chicago Bulls honored Rose’s immense contribution to the team. A Chicago native, Rose was drafted by the Bulls as the No. 1 overall pick in 2008 and quickly became the face of the franchise.
During his time with the Bulls, he earned an MVP award in 2011, becoming the youngest player in NBA history to win the honor at just 22 years old.
