Rapper Eazy The Block Captain Called Out By Ex For Reusing ‘Gimmicks’ In Battle Rap w/ Remy Ma
Rapper Eazy The Block Captain is facing heat from his ex.
During a recent battle rap, Eazy got the crowd hyped when he asked his alleged boo, rapper Remy Ma, “Do you love me?” to which she enthusiastically said, “Yes!”
Soon after, his ex, rapper Hurricane Du, took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a video from a previous battle rap where Eazy asked, “Babe, do you love me?” and Du replied, “Yes,” showing that this wasn’t the first time he’d used the line. Her caption read,
“Reusing gimmicks is something we gotta deal with.”

After receiving some reactions from users, Du responded to clear up any misconceptions:
“I left Eazy. I’m not scorned, I’m happier than I’ve ever been. Grown men in media so biased, I got them out they body about a bar. I’m a rapper, a waaaaaaaay better one than the mfs questioning my integrity. The bar sounded familiar, I went and got the receipts, it ain’t personal.”
She also gave a nod to Remy Ma’s version of the line, adding,
“She put her soul in that ‘yes.’”
If you recall, Eazy and Remy Ma made headlines last month when their (alleged) fling was exposed by Remy’s husband, Papoose, after she revealed his (alleged) affair with boxer Claressa Shields.
