Nearly 400 Inmates Are Helping w/ The California Wildfires
Nearly 400 California prison inmates are assisting 14,000 emergency responders in fighting Los Angeles wildfires, which have claimed six lives and destroyed over 2,000 structures.
The inmates are paid approximately $27 for an entire 24-hour shift.
