Phaedra Parks Talks Dating A Younger Man, Says She Has ‘No Desire’ To Remarry: ‘I Want To Keep All My Money’

Phaedra Parks says she’s loving her romance with a younger man, but has no plans to walk down the aisle again.

In a recent interview with E! News, the 51-year-old dished on her dating life, revealing she’s enjoying her new beau—thanks to some matchmaking from her Married to Medicine co-star, Latesha ‘Sweet Tea’ Lunceford. She shared:

“I met him on Married to Medicine… Good old Sweet Tea, honey. She’s in an age-gap relationship, so she had this little event, and it was the best event of the season.”

Phaedra first hinted at her relationship during a Bravo Fan Fest panel in November, describing her new man as “delicious” and in his “early 30s.” While she’s having fun, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star made it clear she’s not looking to settle down anytime soon:

“I’m just having fun… It’s nothing so serious, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be serious. Maybe there’s another man out there for me. I’m an equal-opportunity employer. It’s been fun dating, but I have no desire to remarry. I wanna keep all my money.”

Phaedra also shared the perks of dating younger, saying:

“When you’re in your 30s, you can do most things and not be sore in the morning. Sometimes maturity might be a disadvantage, but I think there are more advantages than disadvantages with a young guy.”

Reflecting on her past, Phaedra—who was married to Apollo Nida from 2009 to 2017 and shares sons Ayden (14) and Dylan (11) with him—said she’s happy living life on her own terms. she joked:

“I’m very wealthy; I can take care of myself. Women know when you have a husband, sometimes you have to be… nice.”
