Meek Mill Reacts To TikTok’s Return In The U.S.: ‘We Had To Thank Trump’

Meek Mill shared his thoughts on TikTok’s return to the U.S. after it was shut down for 12 hours in response to the federal ban.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Meek Mill wrote,

“We had to thank trump get tik tok back lol he OSs!”

Meek Mill appears to be referencing the messages sent to TikTok’s U.S. users during the shutdown and after the app’s restoration.

TikTok’s shutdown message on Jan. 18 stated,

“A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can’t use TikTok for now. We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!”

Less than a day later, TikTok was restored with this update:

“As a result of President Trump’s efforts, TikTok is back in the U.S.!”
