George Lopez’s Final Stand-Up Comedy Special Set To Premiere In February
George Lopez is set to say goodbye to stand-up comedy with his final special, “Muy Católico.”
Shot live at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, “Muy Católico” features Lopez reflecting on aging, Latino family dynamics, and generational clashes, all in his signature comedic style.

Why is this his last special? Lopez explained in an October 2024 interview with Tamron Hall that it’s simply time to move on:
“It is the last one. I’ve subjected the American people to enough of my crap. It seems like the right time; it’s been the one thing that has just never left me my whole life, and it’s a wonderful place to leave it at this particular point.”
Will you be watching “Muy Católico” when it premieres on February 18, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video?
