Jagged Edge Recalls Beyoncé’s Father Mathew Knowles Kicking Them Off Destiny’s Child Tour Bus
Jagged Edge is opening up about a memorable moment from their time touring with Destiny’s Child.
During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, the group recalled a time when they were managed by Mathew Knowles and touring alongside Destiny’s Child. According to the group, things took a turn when LeToya Luckett’s mother, who had some issues with “the crew,” wanted to join the groups on the tour bus.
While Jagged Edge was in full support of LeToya Luckett’s mom joining, Mathew Knowles, who wasn’t on the road at the time, called the road manager and demanded that she not be allowed on the bus. The situation escalated when Mathew Knowles allegedly had the police called, and Jagged Edge and LeToya Luckett‘s mom were removed from the bus.
The members of Jagged Edge shared that they only learned about some of Destiny’s Child’s internal issues after the incident. However, they stood by their stance and claimed they wanted to “whoop” Mathew.
