Rep. Jasmine Crockett Slams False $9 Million Net Worth Claims From Fan Page Of Elon Musk-Run Department Of Government Efficiency
Rep. Jasmine Crockett is firing back at false claims made by a fan page of the Elon Musk-run Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.).
The X page uploaded a post alleging that Crockett’s net worth is $9 million and that she owns several lavish properties in Texas—suggesting that she uses her position in Congress to “self-enrich.” The post was ultimately debunked by Community Notes, which confirmed that Crockett’s name does not appear on any property records.
In response, Crockett shut down the claims, writing:
“These people either have no relationship with the truth, are dumber than bricks, or both… I know one thing is true. They are intimidated… otherwise they wouldn’t waste their time trying to come up with outlandish stories.”

She also called out previous false allegations that she was paying her “fake” husband using stolen government money.
While the post didn’t come from the official Elon Musk D.O.G.E. page, Crockett expressed concern over how many people believed the report. Meanwhile, many commenters called for D.O.G.E. to investigate her due to the allegations.
